Finally today was the day. The puppies are born.

December 23th. 2004:

Today we have noticed that Lara's temperature is decreasing..
This morning it was 37,88 degrees and at lunch about 37,17 degrees.
Past few days it has been around 37,98 degrees.
Yesterday she started tearing up the sheets which lie in the welpingbox and she is restless all day.

We almost cannot wait anymore . Maybe we will get a gift just before christmas (tomorrow).

December 20th. 2004:

Only a week to go, Lara will than probably give birth to an " X " number small vikings...
The baby box is finished and all the preparations are done.

We are curious. It's getting very exciting now !!!

December 12th. 2004:

After Lara already changed her behavior we knew already that she was pregnant, but now you also can see it on her growing.
She is getting thicker right now.
She has about 2 week left from now on, and then she will put her puppies on this planet.

We are very curious now. It is getting excited now!!!

November 17th, 2004:

Today we heard the HD-result of Bo-ghy.
The result is like we expected already.

November 10th, 2004:

FINALLY...

Finally we found in our mailbox today that the kennelname we asked for has been registrated.
We are very glad that we could use this name.

We think it is a wonderfull kennelname, especially for a Weimaraner breeder.

The kennelname is:

MYSTICAL SHADOWS.....

We are so happy now that we finally got our kennelname.
So now the puppies of Patron and Lara will get the kennelname with them.

October 30th, 2004:

Also today Patron took another qualification on a fieldtrial.
This time a 3d prijs in the Open Class.

They and we are very pleased with that again.

Congrats from us again!!

October 26th, 2004:

Finally Lara has been mated with Patron today and yesterday.
Hopefully we will get a lot of lovely puppy's withing 9 weeks.
We have to wait for that now.....

October 17th, 2004:

Patron did it again.
Again he has a qualification on a fieldtrial, this time organized by the breeder.
With a second price they can be very pleased again with this result.

Congratulations Camilla and Patron with this very good result.

October 12, 2004:

Lara is in heat right now, so Menno will leave the october 22d to Sweden.
There she will be mated by Patron. Hopefully we will get a lot of lovely puppies 63 days after.

August 2, 2004:

HOME AGAIN !

After an extraordinary holiday in the stunning Sweden, we are back in the Netherlands again.
We have had 2 fantastic weeks. The first week we were at the Classic Dream's kennelcamp, with a lot of training and several trials. We went back with some very nice results.

Soon we found out that Lara is a great dog. After only a few days of training (she never did a bloodtrack before), Lara showed us great results where we can be proud of.

Bloodtrack trial, July 22, 2004: 1st Price
Bloodtrack trial, July 23, 2004: 1st Price
Bloodtrack trial, August 1, 2004: 3rd Price

"Eftersökgrenarna" (Water- en Landretrieve) Open Class:
Retrieve of a gull over water (about 50 meter) in the cover: 4
Rabbit drag (about 200 meter): 8

Also Vidar has proven to be a very good huntingdog as he showed us there. We can take those results home too.

En de 2e week nog wat dagen door gebracht bij Rolf en Pernilla. Daarna teruggereist naar het zuiden, waar we Lara haar toekomstige man (Classic Dream's Patron) nog even een paar dagen gezelschap hebben gehouden.

And the second week we spend a few days at Rolf and Pernilla's place. After that we drove back to the south of Sweden, where we visited Lara's future husband (Classic Dream's Patron) for a few more days.

July 3, 2004

OH OH OH, That LARA!!

Today we had a show in Uden, the weather was looking very mournful. With the prognosis of much rain and wind is an Outdoor show not so well. Happily the weather was not that bad with sometimes a little rain.

Half past eleven we arrived there finally after all the traffic problems. It was directly the turn of the Weimaraners, but we were on time to show Lara.

In the ring the judge didn’t know which bitch he had to choose for the best bitch in the "Open Class". After a long time of looking and walking and also asking to walk again with the dogs he made his choice, Lara had to stand after the 2d place sign with an excellent. It wasn’t over yet for her right now!!!! She had to come back for the judging of the "Best Bitch".

Again she had to go in the ring. The judge still had it difficult with his choice, but again she had to stand after the 2d place sign. BEAUTIFUL!!! This means that she had the second place with the "RES. CAC/CACIB".

We are very happu with this result, Rotterdam here we come!!

Our day can’t be broken anymore, as well for us as for Rolf and Pernilla. Who did ever thought this, that all the dogs from "Classic Dream’s" would get the tittles and let all the other Weimaraners behind them.

We really enjoyed this for them, there first show here in Holland and then going home this way.
